My father and grandparents, 1934 |
I started researching my Family Tree a few years ago
in 2006. In the early stages I devoted a great deal of time to it but now I do less.
I've been pretty successful in identifying ancestors from all sides of my family back to
the 1700's and in many cases 1600's and I've now traced some ancestors on my Buckle side
to the very early 1500's.

| My family is pretty much rooted in East Anglia, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk with just one branch on my mother's side from Yorkshire and Lancashire. | My Buckle side has orginated from the Stow area of Suffolk as far back as I have found, early 1500's. My Glasswell side originated in Norfolk and moved to Suffolk about 1900. | The Meacham side of my family lived in Newmarket and nearby from the early 1700's. My Ellis side moved from Yorkshire to Lancashire and to Cambridgeshire about 1900. | ||
